Three Floss Investment Levels
One tenet of the FLOSS brand is for the brand to grow in authority and awareness as it is introduced to more and more markets over time. Because this growth and how it is financed should look different depending on the size (number of locations) of the investment you want to make, we have set up three different investment levels. FLOSS categorizes its investors as individual franchise unit, conversions, and multi (area developers and/or master franchise investors).
The fees associated with investing on each of these levels varies, but whether you own one FLOSS or fifty, you get the same level of unconditional service to support you as you build your practice. In their first-hand dealings with the franchise support team, investors learn early on that ownership comes with a whole group of people dedicated to their success. Although FLOSS wants all types of investors, the brand will be built prioritizing individual units.
Investment in a FLOSS franchise requires a franchise fee of $35K. This fee is your entry into owning the brand along with the others that work so hard every day to build the brand’s image. When an investor desires to own more than one location, they are eligible for a discount of the normal $35K franchise fee for a single FLOSS unit. Discounts are offered for three or more locations, and are tiered depending on the number of locations desired.
Those interested in owning and controlling a larger portion of the FLOSS footprint will have a Master Franchise Agreement. The investment for one state includes an initial franchise fee more significant than required for a single unit. This fee varies depending on a variety of factors specific to the markets being considered. Franchise fees are only one piece to the investment required to own a dental franchise.
Building the Brand Long-term
The FLOSS model requires all owner operators to share 3% of their profits with the company ongoing. This ongoing profit share will be used to grow the FLOSS Franchise Corporation which is set up to grow and prosper the FLOSS brand. The company will help FLOSS owners by creating professional marketing materials that FLOSS owners can use to build interest for their individual locations.
FLOSS will take on the investment to create professional marketing materials that can be uses by franchisees. In addition, FLOSS helps franchisees get discounts on media placements to build more awareness for their locations. By setting aside a small portion of the network’s profits, the brand’s larger mission of supporting and bettering the network of franchisees ongoing will be achieved. Professional ad design is one of many ways this will be done.

This is because it is one of the key benefits to growing a large network of franchisees, which is essentially a group of professionals reaping the benefits of smartly pooling their demand for expensive technology supplies and merchandise. This is one of the very reasons FLOSS was founded, to put all of the owner operators in our network in a position to buy the best tech, and to save the most money on it.
